Before slipcovers:
These club chairs were a thrifted bargain, however, the fabric was faded and not going to work. The chairs were in good condition and I love the idea of washable slipcovers, so slipcovers it was.

Twill is one of my favorite fabrics to use to make slipcovers. It is washable and the white is bleachable too. My secret source for my white slipcover twill is available HERE. The 12 ounce weight is my go-to fabric choice for slipcovers.

Versatile white slipcovers:
White is the most versatile color for those large pieces of furniture, in that you can easily decorate for holidays, parties and seasonal by simply changing the pillow covers, throws and accessories you will have an updated look. See below how I only added 2 pillows and it changed the look in an instant.
- Buffalo check pillow
- Gnome pillow
Accessories with white slipcovers:
I found the book accessory on Etsy and I custom ordered it with the wording I wanted. I saw a ton of book samples with wedding dates, children’s names, special sayings, etc. This shop had the best ones I could find with very neat lettering. I am ordering another set with the binding black and the wording white. The name of the Etsy shop is SilverLakeDesignsCo.

I love these slip covers - and thanks for the link to the fabric you used! Do you happen to remember how many yards it took for each chair? Thanks!
