- ⅓ cup butter (soften)
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 3 cups confectioners sugar
- 3 ounces (squares) bakers unsweetened chocolate melted
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Melt chocolate over a double boiler. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
In a large mixer bowl beat butter, salt and one cup confectioners sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in melted chocolate.
Then add the rest of the sugar alternately with milk and vanilla.
Mix until smooth and cream.
Note: add more sugar to thicken or milk to thin frosting if needed for good spreading consistency.
