- ¾ cup Butter (cut into pieces)
- ½ cup Cocoa
- 2 cup Sugar (granulated)
- ½ cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 3 cups Quick-cook oats
Add butter, cocoa, sugar, and milk to a saucepan over med heat. Stirring often.
Heat until boiling. Boil for one minute.
Remove saucepan from heat, then add vanilla, salt, and 3 cups quick-cook oatmeal to the cocoa mixture.
Stir with a wooden spoon.
Allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes then drop by cookie scoops
Drop by cookie scoop fulls onto parchment paper. Cool completely before storing. Place wax paper between the row of cookies.
