I was getting excited as I anticipated the arrival of fall and decided to start by creating some Rae Dunn inspired fall signs. These cuties are so EASY to whip up, so you can make a bunch. They would be so cute to display on your desk, give as a gift, or to use in your fall decorating. At the end of this post you can download your FREE designs. Note the wooden tote in the photo below is from an early post check it out HERE.
I could not stop there, of course, I had to make some of my favorites for Halloween. These Rae Dunn Inspired Fall Signs and Halloween Block Signs are cheap and easy to make.
Supplies
See complete instructions for these cute block signs in an earlier post about making block signs.
This project is so easy you can include the kids.
Rae Dunn Inspired Fall Signs
Paints used:
I used chalk paints on the blocks. The “fall” sign is a mixture of the colors orange and white. I started out with orange, but decided it was too orange and then I added some white to soften the orange. The signs painted with the white paint I sanded a bit, however, I did not sand the black or orange ones. For full instructions check out my previous post HERE.

Display:
Mixing elements of the same color palette in varying heights and shapes make a pleasing display. I would now add some of the cute fabric pumpkins that I started making after I made the block signs. See how to make them HERE.
Then I added in some Thrift Store Shirt Pumpkins too for fall. These cozy Goodwill shirt pumpkins with the different plaids, and patterns are made with shirts I selected for their colors and patterns for fall.
Sharing is caring please pin:
These cuties are a breeze to make even the kids will love making them see this post about an amazing nine year student and what she did with the pattern.
