¼teaspoonsalt
3mashed bananas
1teaspoonbaking powder
1teaspoonbaking soda
2cupsflour
½cupgranulated sugar
½cupbrown sugar
½cup vegetable oil
1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven 325 degrees F.
Prepare the bread pan by cutting a piece of parchment paper to line it with an overhang to help lift the bread out of the pan. I spray the corners with baking spray to ensure they do not stick.
Whisk the eggs and *sour milk in a medium-sized bowl until foamy.
Use a fork to mash over-ripe bananas on a plate.
Add mashed banana, salt, baking powder, baking soda, flour, sugar, and oil. Stir until blended.
Fold ¾ cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in the batter.
Pour the bread batter into the prepared pan, then sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips.
Bake for one hour. Test doneness with a toothpick (insert a toothpick in the center if it comes out clean, then the bread is finished baking)
Place hot bread on a cooling rack for 15 minutes before removing the bread from the pan.
Remove the bread by holding the parchment paper liner.
Notes
*Add one teaspoon of white vinegar to make sour milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
