When people ask what is there to do on 30a, I have to say EVERYTHING! There is not another place like the 30a anywhere in the world.
Once you experience this magical cozy beach town, you will be back.
30a Beaches
30a got its name from County Road 30A, which is 20 miles of pristine beaches located in South Walton County of the panhandle of Florida.
If time permits, I recommend visiting each one is like being transformed to another time and place to explore and experience everything good and unique.
If you enjoy beautiful beaches with white sand, you will enjoy all the 30a beaches.

I start my beach vacation in Destin, Florida, since it is on the drive to 30a. You can check the Destin Beach webcam to see some fun activities and, of course, the beach.
Our favorite activity in Destin is parasailing. The thrill of gliding over the Gulf of Mexico as free as a seagull with your family is priceless.

Therefore, we like to take nature walks; therefore, Grayton Beach is the perfect destination for relaxing in unspoiled Florida coastal nature on 30a.

Watercolor Beach is a southern beach town along 30a that is nestled between Grayton and Seaside. The Watercolor Resort and Inn is the ultimate place to stay. They offer visitors every amenity they could imagine, so you will not need to leave the resort for anything.
Bike riding is the main form of transportation on this laid-back coastal beach. You can see Watercolor Beach’s current view via the Watercolor webcam.

Seaside {30a Beach Visitors Guide Seaside Florida}
Seaside Florida is my favorite beach along the scenic highway 30a. It is the Mayberry of beach towns with its picket fences and unique pastel houses. It is like being transported back in time to a quint beach town of yesteryear.
All my worries are washed away as soon as I arrive. Everything is within walking (or bicycling) distance so I can tuck away the car keys.
Seaside is a well-planned community with no high-rise hotels, restaurants chains, or shopping chains. Instead, the businesses are locally owned and operated. You will feel the difference the moment you enter any shop or restaurant.
The picket fences line the cobblestone roads with adorable houses that sport a sign with the houses’ and owners’ names. Residents can walk to grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Everyone knows their neighbors in this beach community.

Alys Beach
Alys Beach offers the most secluded beach on the emerald coast. You will enjoy carefully curated amenities at this exotic oasis on 30a. If you are looking for an exclusive vacation with private beaches, Alys Beach would be a perfect destination. The stark white architecture seems to glow in the Florida sun. Bermuda influenced the architectural style with accents from Morocco.
