What says Hello Fall better than pumpkins? This fall pumpkin wreath was made from a re-cycled grapevine wreath form. I decided to recycle the wreath form from Easter since I am running out of wreath storage space, and why not get double use out of it?
Pumpkin Wreath DIY
I wanted to make a wreath with traditional fall colors and my favorite color, green. The floral picks I chose for this wreath are in the traditional fall colors of greens, golds, and shades of orange. The pumpkin is green and gold with highlights of a sea-foam green (my favorite color). Orange hydrangeas are the perfect accompaniment for the green and gold pumpkin.

Wreath-making tools
Making the bow
I like to begin creating my wreath by making the bow first. Please see how I made this bow in the video.
Attaching the bow
I used the wire from creating the bow to attach it to the grapevine form. Grapevine wreath forms are excellent for wreath-making because you can move the elements around and test the placement before attaching them.

Adding the bow
Adding floral picks and pumpkin
After attaching the bow, I added the floral picks, starting with the pumpkin pick and then the orange hydrangeas.

Then I added some pretty green leaves below the bow with them pointing down.
