Valentine’s Day is a day of celebrating those we care about. The most traditional Valentine’s gifts are sweet treats and flowers; thus, I decided to share my favorite easy cookie recipes. Everyone loves to receive a sweet treat, so show your Valentine you care with homebaked cookies and candy.
Valentine Cookies
Valentine crack is an easy candy cookie hybrid recipe with only 4 ingredients and offers a delectable sweet, salty, buttery, with a crunch. The topping can be chocolate or candy melts. Decorating them with holiday candy and sprinkles make these festive. You can find the recipe in this early post.
The pink topping is candy melts, and the chocolate topping is dark chocolate chips.

Heart-shaped Chocolate Chip Cookies
Heart-shaped cookies say I love you on Valentine’s Day, and to make them with ease, I used my silicone heart pan. I used the easy cookie recipes for the following cookies you can see in the photos (it’s our little secret).
Candy melts in different colors have made decorating sweets so easy. No more adding food coloring; just melt and decorate. However, you will need a candy decorating bag to apply the melted candies.
Valentine Sweet Treat Supplies
- Heart-shaped pan
- Pink Candy Melt
- Red Candy Melt
- White Candy Melt
- Cookie mix
- Brownie mix
- M&M’s
- Sprinkles
- Dollies
- Baking spray
- Candy decorating bags
- Mixing bowls
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Spatula
- Cookie scoop
Allow the cookie dough to sit on the counter for 20 minutes to warm-up so you can press it into the heart-shaped pan with ease. However, before pressing the dough in the pan, I used baking spray to grease the pan.
Heart-shaped Brownies
This easy peasy Valentine’s Day brownie recipe I made in minutes. I used a cookie scoop to measure and drop the battery into the heart-shaped silicone baking pan.
Chocolate Chip Bar Cookies
Another one of my simple cookie recipes is the chocolate chip cookie cake or bar cookies. You can find how I make these in this earlier post. This recipe can be baked in a heart-shaped pan and decorated with icing too.
I hope you will enjoy baking up some love to share this Valentine’s Day. These easy cookie recipes will make it a breeze to make someone feel loved with a sweet treat gift.
No-Baked Sweet Treat
This easy and quick dessert uses boxed jello (you can use sugar-free jello) and whipped cream (you can use whip cream without sugar). You can enjoy this dessert with the sugar-free option for a healthier treat. See the full post from Just That Perfect Piece here.
An easy no-bake dessert is my berry parfaits; these can be served in jars. The cute jars make it so easy to give them as a Valentine’s Day gift.
