It’s officially the holiday season and I could not be more excited for a Christmas home tour.  Our first tree is completed with all  DIY ornaments, Christmas stockings, display ladder and the tree stand. Why do anything easy?

Today I am inviting you to join me on a Christmas Home Tour starting with my home and then to more than thirty more beautiful homes for a ton of Christmas inspiration. Let’s get started!

DIY Christmas Home Tour

My Christmas tree and decor is a mix of elegant modern farmhouse with rustic farmhouse accents and a wee bit of modern Boho. The plaid and metallic sliver ribbon set the tone of the Christmas tree design. I painted the ornaments with flat and mirror paint then added mat vinyl to the white bulbs and sliver glitter to the black ones.  See how I made these easy DIY ornaments HERE.

Christmas Home Tour Tree and Decor

My handmade stockings needed a place to be hung so made a blanket ladder. My tutorial for the blanket ladder is coming out this week so be sure to subscribe HERE so you can have it delivered to your inbox. The stain I used on the ladder I also used on the outer embroidery hoops and the little triangle wood trees.
