Hard boiling the eggs is the first step. See an earlier post for cooking methods here and how long to boil eggs (I use my Instant Pot to cook the eggs). Note: you can cook the eggs up to 2 days in advance. I like to rise my peeled eggs under cold water to ensure all the shell has been removed.

Deviled Egg Recipe
Using a cutting board and sharp paring knife, carefully slice the eggs in half lengthwise.

Gather ingredients for yolk mixture.

Fill egg white halves with the yolk mixture. The easiest way to fill the egg whites is with a pastry bag; however, you can fill with a spoon.

- 12 eggs (hard-boiled)
- 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp Vinegar (apple cider vinegar) or pickle juice
- 2 tsp Mustard (any style you like)
- 1 Optional: Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Paprika (garnish)
Instructions
- Using a sharp paring knife slice eggs in half lengthwise
- Scoop out yolks and place the yolks in a medium bowl
- Using a fork smash the egg yolks
- Add mayonnaise, vinegar, and mustard to the yolks and stir with a fork
- Fill a pastry bag or use a spoon and fill egg whites

- Add 1 tsp. relish
- Add crumbled bacon
- hot sauce
