It is summer, so peaches are sweet, juicy, and plentiful. I have an easy peach cobbler recipe that is easy and so delicious.

Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 peaches (4 cups sliced peaches)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 2 cups sugar divided
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
Supplies
- 9 by 13 casserole dish
- Medium bowl
- Medium saucepan
- Spatchla
- Measuring cups and teaspoons

Cobbler Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Melt butter in a 9 by 13 casserole dish in the oven.
Step 2
Combine flour, one cup of sugar, and baking powder with a whisk.
Slowly mix in the milk.
Step 3
Pour the dough mixture over the melted butter (do not stir).
Step 4
Place peeled and sliced peaches in a medium saucepan. Add lemon juice and one cup of sugar over the peaches. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Spoon the peach filling mixture over the batter.
Note: fresh peaches can be substituted with frozen peaches.
Step 5
Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Peach Cobbler

- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 cups peach slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Melt butter in a casserole dish in the oven.
- Combine flour, one cup of sugar, and baking powder with a whisk. Slowly mix in the milk.
- Pour the dough mixture over the melted butter (do not stir).
- Place peeled and sliced peaches in a medium saucepan. Add fresh squeezed lemon juice and one cup of sugar over the peaches. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Place the cooked peach mixture over the batter.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Cobber Serving Suggestions
Cobbler is best served hot from the oven topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
It can be served warm or at room temperature.
Reheat in a microwave.

This is a delicious and easy recipe. The first time I made it, the flour mixture was thinner than what was in the picture so I had to bake it for a little longer. The second time my batter was a little thicker by adding less milk. I also added some cinammon to the peach mixture, lemon zest and one large container of blueberries that I added just before I spooned it on the batter. It's still in the oven. Will let you know how it turned out. Hello summer!
