Best Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe

Sharing is caring!

Summer is here, and a Strawberry Daiquiri is the perfect frozen cocktail to enjoy poolside. It combines the sweet and tangy flavor of fresh strawberries with the tart kick of lime. It is a variety of frozen daiquiri.

What Is a Daiquiri?

A Daiquiri cocktail comprises white rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. This simple but flavorful mixture has spawned many varieties of the daiquiri.

What’s In a Strawberry Daiquiri?

Ingredients for strawberry daiquiri
  • Frozen Strawberries—Instead of ice in this cocktail, frozen strawberries will chill and thicken the drink while providing a rich strawberry flavor.
  • Fresh Strawberries—The fresher the strawberries you can get, the better, but any will work. Fresh strawberries will thicken the frozen cocktail and provide a fresh, fruity flavor.
  • Simple Syrup—This will dial up the cocktail’s sweetness and offset any bitter flavors. The amount of simple syrup added can be modified to suit your taste.
  • White Rum—Bacardi is a go-to white rum for any daiquiri recipe. It will add an alcohol kick to your cocktail.
  • Lime Juice – I recommend fresh squeezing your own lime juice. Lime juice is going to add a bright citrus kick that is going to play off the sweet strawberry flavor beautifully.
  • Garnish – A lime wheel or wedge placed on the rim of the glass is the perfect finishing touch for this cocktail.

Special Tools Needed

How to Make a Strawberry Daiquiri

Blending the strawberry daiquiri

Blend until smooth. Serve in a cocktail glass.

How to Serve Strawberry Daiquiris

A strawberry daiquiri can be served in a variety of glasses. A stemmed glass like a coupe, martini, or margarita glass works great for frozen drinks because it keeps your fingers off the cold drink. A stemless wine glass is a lower-profile option that is easier to handle than a top-heavy stemmed glass.

As a final touch to elevate the presentation of your cocktail, I recommend using a lime wheel or wedge and a strawberry.
