Frozen Hot Chocolate Recipe Ingredients

I use our homemade hot chocolate mix for this recipe. However, you can use any mix you like.

  • Chocolate milk ice cubes – Adds a creaminess, texture, and extra depth of chocolaty goodness.
  • Hot chocolate mix – The hot chocolate mix adds more cream and chocolate.
  • Water – Use ice-cold water to dilute the dry, hot chocolate mix.
  • Grated chocolate – You can Grate milk or dark chocolate for a delicious garnish.
  • Whipped cream – Adds more creamy goodness.

How to Make Frozen Hot Chocolate

You only need a regular blender and a few minutes to make this wonderful drink.

Place the hot chocolate mix and chocolate milk ice cubes in the blender’s glass jar.

Then add water.

Place the lid on the blender jar and blend until combined.

Fill glasses with the blended mix and top with whipped cream and grated chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoon *Hot chocolate mix
  • 8 each Chocolate milk ice cubes
  • ¾ cup Cold water

Instructions

  • Freeze eight to ten regular-sized ice cubes.
  • Place hot chocolate mix in a blender jar.
  • Then add eight to ten milk chocolate ice cubes.
  • Next, add water and blend until smooth.
  • Pour blended frozen hot chocolate into a glass, then top with desired topping.

Storing Frozen Hot Chocolate

This drink is best enjoyed immediately after making it. Leftovers can be stored in the freezer for a few hours and blended before serving.
