Valentine’s Mantel Decor DIY:
This time of year can be a bit dreary even in Florida, so I enjoy working on Valentine’s Mantel Decor DIY. The Valentine’s Decor is bright and happy so the dreary weather cannot dampen my fun Valentine’s decor.

Valentine’s Mantel Decor
If you have been following my posts then you know how much I love banners/bunting. The first item I added to my mantel was the buffalo check bunting and then the heart banner. I made the heart bunting a few years ago, see that post HERE so you can make one too. The buffalo check banner I purchased. The beautiful large sign hanging over the fireplace was made by my daughter, Olivia.

Be Mine Design By Olivia for Cricut Maker
You can easily make this vintage inspired be mine Valentine with your Cricut Maker using the file you can find in the link below. As a child I made my own Valentine’s cards out of paper doilies, red paper, glue, glitter, and markers and this one is a nod to the past. I added the buffalo check pillows and throw to make the scene cozy.

Closer look at Mr Gnome
Mr. Gnome is chilling out for Valentine’s. Gnomes always make me smile. In an earlier post I have the complete instructions and patterns to make your very own Gnome, see that post HERE. I just love to combine rustic with fancy such as the sliver tray and the rustic candle holders and wood slices.

Sweets for sweet
The roses I purchased at the local grocery store and used a wide mouth jar and a frog insert to arrange the them. Then I placed the jar in a large mercury glass vase. So easy so far.

Mercury Glass for Valentine’s Day Mantel
Since no holiday decor is finished until I add some mercury glass, I added a few candle sticks and holders.

Then I added a handmade love sign.

Hugs and Kisses for Valentine’s Day
The X and O I got on clearance. I use them every year. No cost this year for the X and O is definitely a win.
That was fun! I wanted to let you know that I am reusing most of decorations for my Valentine’s Mantel Decor so it was very budget friendly.
All I purchased was flowers, candy and champagne. So much fun to decorate for my sweet family. I hope your Valentine’s Day is lovely.
