🌸 I recommend you watch this video of me making homemade weed killer.
This recipe uses the acid in the vinegar to wilt and ultimately kill weeds. It is not harmful to the environment like store-bought weed killers.
1. Measure Weed Killer Ingredients
You can use a clean bucket or garden sprayer to mix your solution.
I purchased a new garden sprayer and labeled it so that I would not mistakenly use it for fertilizing my plants.

Add Epsom salt
First, I added two cups of plain Epsom salt to the garden sprayer.

Add dish soap
Then I added 1/4 cup of Dawn dishwashing liquid (the blue one) into the sprayer.

Adding vinegar
Next, I added the white vinegar to the fill line on the sprayer.
Note: If you use a one-gallon sprayer, you cannot add the entire gallon of vinegar. However, you can add the remaining vinegar after using some weed solutions.
2. Mix Weed Killer Solution
Since I used a new sprayer, I had to insert the sprayer nozzle tube and screw it in place.

Insert tubing
Next, I inserted the pumper handle and tightened it in place.

Insert plunger
3. Apply Weed Killer
Before applying the solution, I had to use the handle to pump air into the sprayer to create pressure.
Note: You will need to repeat this process when the sprayer loses pressure.
Next, apply the week killer directly to the weed you want to eliminate, then check back in 24 hours to see the results.
This solution will wilt the green growth, but it does not kill the root system. Therefore, you may need to reapply if more growth reappears.
Note: For the best results use this solution on a sunny day.

You see the results 24 hours after applying the weed killer.

The results after 24 hours.
Natural Weed Killer
Another way to kill weeds is to pour boiling water over them. However, this method is very time-consuming.
